Volcanoes

There are 3 parts of a volcano. One part of a volcano is the magma. Magma erupts from a vent. Magma is hot gas and melted rock.

      Another part of a volcano is the lava. Sometimes lava spews gas and steam. When magma reaches the earth’s surface it becomes lava.
     A third part of a volcano is the vent. Sometimes gas and steam shoot lava through the top of a mountains. Lava just leaks slowly from vents or opening in the mountain’s side.

       As you can see there are 3 parts of a volcano.The most interesting part is the lava because it comes out like red bubbles.
